Verifications of the training process

II level international and inter-university Master in:

Seismic safety and sustainable urban development

Continuous monitoring of the progress of the entire training course is envisaged, to allow the formulation of specific assessments on its effectiveness and consistency with the territory safety needs and the expected effects. Evaluations based on four different types of verifications (ex ante, in itinere, final and ex-post) which are divided into as many methods of performance.

  In particular:

  • the ex ante verification , carried out through group activities and / or personalized interviews during the orientation phase of the students, has the objective of assessing the level of motivation of the students in relation to the training process and the characteristics of the outgoing professionals;

  • the on-going tests consist of written tests (questions with different answering ways) and interviews on the topics of the written tests; they are carried out following the completion of each didactic module during the entire phase of delivery of lessons in synchronous blended e-learning mode, and have as their objective the assessment of the progress of skill acquisition;

  • the final assessment  consists in the drafting of a thesis and an interview; it  has as its objective the final evaluation of the results achieved by the training course, which will allow, on the other hand, an analysis of the impact, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the course itself;

  • the ex-post verifications , to be carried out at the end of the training course, are aimed, on the basis of the other verifications carried out, at assessing compliance with the objectives of the training project, acquiring feedback to improve its configuration.

The ongoing tests and the final verification will be carried out using the synchronous  blended e-learning method , by a commission set up   by at least two members: the course teacher and the tutor of the University of the HENSE SCHOOL Network.

Students who have passed the exam with positive results will be awarded the following marks, from letter A to letter E which can be followed by a "+" or a "-", in accordance with the current ECTS grade conversion tables at the single universities.

Students who did not pass the exam are awarded the grade F = fail (rejected; limited additional effort is required to pass the exam) or FX (rejected; significant additional effort is required to pass the exam).
